Re: Do not panic / The quick HELP thread

Hi. I recently downloaded and installed the Nebula 3 free bundle. The Nebula3 Free plug-in works fine, but the Nebula3 Free Reverb freezes my DAW so that it will not play until I delete it from the track.

I'm using Sonar 8 on Windows Vista (yeah, I know but I can't afford to change right now).

Any ideas?

I uninstall and install cubases several times, deleted registry entries, hidden data folders but nothing happens. EverytimeI install cubase sx3 or sx5 all is ok but nebula, when I charge it it crash in proo and free versions.
I tried to install in different folders but no success.
So it´s impossible to work it out. Impossible at all.

I´m wondering about installing a new XP in other Hard Disk partition, I have enough space, but the question is the next: I have installed neb3pro in my standar XP, the actual one, but for using it in the new XP installation I´ll have to install neb3pro in this new too, isn´t it? Is this possible?
Or I can use the original temprepository folder?
Or I have to send another ser file to activate neb3pro in this new XP?

Thanks in advance, this is so sad...

install a setup version and upgrade to 1.3.495, if it still crashes send a log. I suggest to install using a new repository, you'll move libraries later following instructions

I did it, I installed neb with other repository and after that I copied just the folders I had from the old repository folder, that is: Dictionaries, Programs, Vectors, Documents and so on.

Nothing changed, still crash. I just can use neb in reaper so I don´t know if the log I have has information about cubase issue or just from reaper.
Anyway I post it here.

And about the installation of other XP in other HD, what do you think aboout it? Could I use neb3pro there?

And in other side, what do you think about neb is the only plug that makes cubase crash? Any idea? It´s very strange cos it never happened before.

Could you explain the difference between 495 and 499?

so the log is ok...
I don´t know waht to do, I posted a topic asking if anybody can use cubase sx3 and neb3pro for being sure that it´s not a bug.

About the empty song, I don´t remember when I did the log. Is it important?

yes, I need an empty song. Delete the log file before. Than run cubase, make it crash and send the log file again
