So...

Nebula 1.3.505 keeps generating a different serial number every single time.
I recently had to reinstall my whole system to a new drive. You gave me a new Licence, but after i restarted, i realized nebula is not properly authorized.
Then i got curious, and tested it for 2 whole days.

I have made more than 10 clean installs, even new location every time, but no solution. Tried x64 version, still the same.

For me, most of the 3rd party libraries work fine, except the newer Analog in the box ones, because his protection system is tied to Nebula's.

That results in all sorts of problems, like i cant register ApeQ, cause it generates a different serial number every time.

The other programs at least produce a consistent serial number, but as soon as i restart my system, they don't work, and i have to generate a new serial, and authorize....

I had a long bug-hunt with AITB,and Niklas was very supportive, but it seems the problem is on Acustica's side, or in my system.

Windows 7 x64 SP1

If i could get my hands on an install of 1.3.504, i could do further testing.

thx,
Matt

I am on a PC, but it should be the same for you... You need to load a Nebula instance into your DAW software first for it to generate the ser file.

Hi, it turned out, that i did not have a drive c:\, that caused the non consistent serials.

Hope it works now, I have sent my new .ser a few days ago.

Sent the .ser file and received the two init files and put them both in the correct folders (INIT.N2P in the programs folder and INIT.N2V file in the vectors folder) but I still cannot see my library.

I can see the library in Nebula3Free but that is, naturally, unable to play the nebula3 Pro library content.

I can play vnxt's EMT stuff in the free player which sounds just terrific (much better than the stock "old plate").

Hello nnyrad. Check the folder that your are installing your libraries (N2P and N2V files). Nebula should see it even without key but just will not load it. MAC/OSX use fixed folder.

5.4. Library installation MAC

A Nebula library are a collection of a emulation presets. Each preset has two files, vector file (.N2V files) and program file (N2P files). Vector files should be copied to Nebula Vector folder and Program files should be copies to Nebula Programs folder folder both folder are inside the plug-in support installation folder in HD/Library/Audio/Presets/AcusticaAudio/Nebula3/.
Acustica Audio libraries and 3rd party developers include a library installer you can use for copy your libraries files into the corresponding folder in an automatic way.

IMPORTANT: You can move you 3rd libraries to a different HDD, but you should add a manually the new location into the Nebula MAST page adding alternative data path parameter.
