So you can only get 64 bit OSX on a server version? Even though I have Nebula3Pro? Even though I don't need a server version as I only have one computer? Am I expected to pay more? This is all very baffling.

I am in the same boat, but was considering the Server version because I thought that there were other benefits also?

+1

I miss Nebula, can't wait until the day it becomes usable for me again!
Sadly I don't see it happening anytime soon.

@grame, I have the server version, but I also
have 1 computer. The reason for purchase is the
RAM sharing in the server version.
It's merely a choice and a couple of bucks.
It's not really a next car purchase.

65 bucks actually. I supported Nebula right from the very beginning by buying it outright. I paid to be upgraded to the Pro version assuming this is what it meant. Now I'm expected to pay again for redundant functionality in order to use it in 64 bit in my 64 bit DAW on my 64 bit operating system? Not cool.

Would the Server edition be significantly more efficient than the Pro version (typically)? If so, I'd do it.

Obviously.

But I reserve the right to comment on this Apple tax. WIndows users don't have to 'take it or leave it.'

Soooooo in addition to being 64 bit, are there other benefits? I don't want to get in the middle, and believe me would rather just stick with Pro, but personally I would still upgrade if it was a significant improvement in performance, even though I'm only on one computer.

Also, Nebulaman is out there to help with performance issues :)
