GDRIVE

The new GDRIVE feature is very cool. I was fantasizing about that for a while. Actually i'd like to have something automatic but that is probably not possible.

I looked but don't really understand it. I'm not one for mucking about with libraries. :lol:

@faun2500
For what I remember (when Giancarlo first mention the name) it's simply : an input linked to the output "one button".

It helps you test/find/learn the sweet spot of your Pre/Console/etc programs.

Turning just one knob, you dial for example +10db of input level and it take off -10db of output.Your "average" level stay the same but you can hear where the saturation level is the more "pleasing" for your taste.
Like the workaround people talk here with 2 FreeG or 2 Bluecat plugins link together. But it's INSIDE Nebula and just use ONE Knob.
Gain-staging control with less clicks and hustle.

As for the Giancarlo last post.I didn't read it. :lol:...yet

Do these patches work with AlexB's libraries?!
That would be awesome!

I have them working with Alex's libarys.

This is a good upgrade , i'm getting good results quicker .Alot less messing around . 8-)

I have one question .Anyone know when Nebula will be fully working with Cuda for pramps etc?. That will be the day that will change everything.Cpu is now the only thing that stops me doing complete mixes straight off.I don't like rendering . I prefer the bigger picture before I decide what i'm permently going to effect.

PURE CUDA is under develop but we are going to release first OSX x64 version before continue with PURE CUDA develop, beta test, etc.

really works great.

Can I use this preamp patch on the vintage tube collection from cdsoundmaster?

And what about consoles, what happens if the patch does not work for a program, will I not see the g drive slider or will the program not work at all?

thanks Jeroen
