From what I've read, these should be the exact same file, essentially different 'setups' with associated xml. The reverb version being the 'Full' version with more buffer and highest quality, the non-reverb being lower latency better suited for compressors and EQs.
But AU versions: Nebula3 Reverb x64.component = 7.8MB Nebula3 x64.component = 4MB
...so they are not the same.
If I want to use one as the 'master' file for Nebula Setups, which do I use and why?
robschroeder wrote:As you said: Reverb with higher quality and settings. Btw you can customize the XML file in the way you want and also setup different ones without any problem.
Yes but the 'higher quality and settings' should be just differences in the XML file. As you say, customisation is done there, and we are told to make duplicates of the plugin dll (in case of vet) and XML, and edit the XML to make different 'setups'.
So my question still stands, why is Nebula3 Reverb x64.component almost twice the size of Nebula3 x64.component if they should be duplicates of each other, only with different names and XML files?
