Nebula 3 Pro Authorisation issues

I bought Nebula 3 yesterday but i can't seem to get it working. Basically i have followed all the instructions but when i open Nebula inside my DAW its asking me to authorise.

What could i be doing wrong?

What instructions are you speaking of? Did you open your DAW as an admin to create the .SER file? Do you have your .AUT file already? What DAW are you using? Mac/PC?

It's pretty hard to help with such little info 8-)

Hi,

yeah i found my .ser file and uploaded it. I then had the license installer files emailed to me which i have put in the correct folders.

What is a .aut file? I don't think i have that one

Im using the latest Ableton live 9 on a mac.

The .Aut file you received is zipped ... Unzip and put the file called .Aut where your .ser file is . That should work !

Beside , i'm on PC but i suppose it shold work the same ...

I have just looked and the only files i received zipped are the two files for the program and vector folders.

Should i have been sent a .aut file with these too?

NO , sorry , that was the old way ...

You should replace the two files you got in the "Programs" and "Vectors" folders in your machine already !

I always do my authorizations through the Dashboard in the Customer Area, but there should be 2 or 3 separate .ZIP files. These are the filenames I have, your's may differ a smidge...

- Id-522_Nebula3_Request(29-12-2013_00.35.01)
- Id-522_Nebula3_License(29-12-2013_00.35.01)
- Id-522_Installer_Nebula3_License(29-12-2013_00.35.01)


The 'Request' one is the .SER file you uploaded. The 'License' one is the INIT N2P and N2V files. The 'Installer' is what I believe you're looking for! It might be in a separate email, or you can manually download it from your Dashboard.

Nick,

Unfortunately you gave us minimal info to help.

1st ... what computer platform are you running ?

2nd. There are 2 different methods of authorizing, this is based on WHAT you are authorizing.

Before anything ... you need to authorize NEBULA, the main plugin. What computer system are you running.

I think i may have actually made a mistake when purchasing as I've purchased the Nebula pro bundle upgrade for 60 euros. I thought it was an upgrade from the demo version. I noticed earlier that you can buy the Nebula pro bundle for 139 euros. Does this mean i needed to buy the Nebula 3 light before buying the pro bundle upgrade?
If so, the Nebula light is unavailable so will i need to get a refund and then buy the Nebula pro bundle for 139?
