I'm sure this question has been asked lots but I honestly can't find the answer I'm looking for so I wonder if anyone can help. I've just got a new computer and I want to install my nebula3 pro which I have already purchased. I have downloaded nebula and it appears in my daw without any authorisation message. I have also downloaded a load of the free libraries from the nebula dashboard and "installed" them but they do not appear in nebula in the daw. I can't remember the installation process to install libraries, is there something special I'm supposed to do? Am I supposed to move all the n2p and n2v files somewhere? Is there something I have to do to have nebula on 2 computers.
Also, while I'm here, I have various third party libraries for nebula, do I have to contact the makers in order to get another download? Or can I just copy the files to my new computer and install them again?
to install the libs, place the N2P in Lib/Audio/preset/Acusticaaudio/nebula3/Programs
The N2V in lib/Audio/preset/Acusticaaudio/nebula3/Programs
If you have skins : lib/Audio/preset/Acusticaaudio/nebula3/skins
Lots of third party dev will give you new download links if you lost the first one except Alex B, it will cost you 1 euro per download I think, because his site is "not a cloud". If you dowloaded alex B libraries the past four days you should be alright but hurry up !
To install Nebula on a new computer i think you have to do exactly the same steps as you did for the first install : dashboard, download nebula, run it in your daw, .ser etc..
Thanks, I think I'm doing ok with the third party libraries. Almost all there apart from the fate compressor which hasn't been converted to 64 bit or something. The main problem is I can't install the free libraries that are supposed to work with nebula. The n2ps and n2vs are in the right place but nothing. I think I've seen other people with the same problem but no answer from acustica yet. I'm very keen to get my libraries up and running on this machine. I've had a rock band in recording for the last few days and I'd love to mix it on my new computer.
Thank you for your help but there has been no .ser file created on this computer and I wasn't made to follow any authorisation steps. It says if there is no .ser file then I have to contact support for help. I've done that. Looking forward to hearing from support!
Anyway, be sure to submit a ticket from the "get support" option in your dashboard.
In forums, is also important to provide info about your setup and OS. Actually I don't know if you are using Mac or Windows... for example.
If you are on OSX, be sure to check the correct library folder (not user library, but system library): HDD/library/Audio/Presets/AcusticaAudio/Nebula3 Check also folder permissions, and be sure to install Nebula in the default folder.
Keep it simple, be happy.
