Hide Nebula Server window on login

Postby macsearcher » Tue Mar 22, 2016 10:23 pm

Hello all, I hope that this is the right place to post this.
When OSX 10.1 and above starts up, the NebulaServerMac GUI opens on the desktop. Checking the 'hide app on login' in user prefs will not correct this as the application is a Server and OSX will not apply the action to a server window.
I struggled with this for a while and finally was able to find a fix.
Please see below if you are interested.

1- Open AppleScript Editor, which is available in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder.
2-In the scripting window, copy and paste this script

tell application "NebulaServerMac" to activate
tell application "NebulaServerMac" to activate
tell application "System Events"
set visible of process "NebulaServerMac" to false
end tell

3- Save the script, and in the "File Format" menu choose "Application" (you can optionally choose for it to be "Run Only").

4- From your user account login items tab, add the application that you just created.
