Wait a sec so nebula 4 won't handle 3rd party libraries well? meaning the cpu load will be crazy, or the similar to running them in agent. :?: :?: :?: :?:

I think that eq-libs have to be redone. Like the preamp and bands and stuff so they don't stack on top of eachother, they maybe found a better way to this.

They could stack instances. Anyway core6-7-8 will not be allowed to 3rd party this year. We'll start with core5, and it will be allowed to developers who will attend our annual workshop- they could release things as soon as new shop is online. Let's go step after step but everything is dann hot. If the model works we could extend to core6 somewhat soon.

This is my plan. Anyway we'll discuss it with developers in July, we'll listen their requests and we'll discuss and evaluate their needs.

Btw: what you see today from developers is almost what we released till 2009-2010, with very few exceptions. So even a stupid "core5"' could be nuclear in their hands. When we create a new tech we barely use it - as company. There are endless consequences.
All we need is to go slowly and to build a business model which works on both sides - acustica and 3rd party devs

Yeah, I've got the feeling this is a sensitive and delicate situation, to have an "open" software on one side, and to make a profit a the same time to stay alive. the ecosystem must be win-win for everyone.
