settings lost after update?

Postby rici » Thu Dec 17, 2015 9:03 pm

hey guys
i just installed a new version of nebula pro.
the last one was a 32bit version i guess.
now all my songs in logic pro 10.2 do not recognize the new nebula.
i have to reload nebula but than all my settings are lost.
any suggestions? workarounds?

thanks in advance

It never happened with me on VST world.
What I do when updating is to backup the .xml file to not loose my settings (tweaks) there, because .xml will be replaced.

thanks flaviuser!
i think i have a backup from the xml file,
but my main problem is not the global setting.
since in logic songs nebula is not just replaced with the updated version (logic does not load the older nebula), i have to reload nebula in the channel where i used it and everything is reset. so i sometimes don't remember what tweaks in the gui i did. sometimes i don't even know what nebula programs i've used.
