Hey guys,

i saw that Computer Music released has a smaller version of Nyrv Agent.
it's basically an effect chainer where you can load up to 2x4 plugins (effect and strip section) but you can also put personally customized controls on the surface and tweak them a little to fit your needs.
so i thought maybe i can chain up 2 or more Nebula instances to have some EQs completely loaded. i bought the current issue of cm at apple news stand and just tried it.

i made my own surfaces for silk and t95 eqs (2 Nebula instances loaded for each eq)

it's a bit of work but it works really well. it isn' as efficient as Aquas but works well if you need a full eq. it also gives you an input and output meter.

i wasn't able to skin it the way i wanted to, was too fiddly for me and didn't work for me.

actually it also allows you to add a mix control knob and i thought it might be nice to add that to some compression presets. unfortunately it seems that latency is reported fine to the daw but not internally. when i do parallel compression in the daw while having Agent loaded it works fine but if i use the mix knob inside Agent i get really ugly phasing...

so for eqs it works really good but not for parallel compression inside Agent. you can still use compression presets but not with the mix knob inside it. might be a bug though...

Looks interesting!
Do the parameter values match?

you can set the parameters by yourself, you can also define how many steps a knob has. Nebula returns the values to Agent so you can see them while tweaking but sou can also set them around the knob (11 positions)

anyway, just watch the video and see how it works:
