I had to set the HPF to 5K (the max) to disable all the artifacts, but it seems to be working. I can still hear plenty of sound below 5K in the wet signal, so it doesn't sound like the reverb itself is highpassed. Thanks for this workaround, I'm printing the tracks now!

i will try this here too.
system 1: windows 8 32 bit - samplitude prox, tracktion6, reaper
system 2: mac osx yosemite - reaper(32+64bit), tracktion6(32+64bit)

both systems on: macbook pro (late 2009), core 2 duo 3,06 ghz, 4 gb ram, graphic: nvidia geforce 9600M GT 512 MB

it is not a filter, reverb is full, not filtered at all
It is a detector on the signal which selects the proper reverb modulation. Which is modulated perfectly even at 5 KHz
