Nebula Server over 10gigabit ethernet

Postby daveee » Tue Dec 23, 2014 2:56 am

Hi!

I'm thinking of setting up a slave machine to run Nebula server, connected with 10gigabit Ethernet (direct connection).

Does anyone have any experience of this? Will it work? I'm guessing as it's still tcp/ip there should be no difference to 1gigabit, except more bandwidth?

Thanks in advance!

More bandwidth, yes still TCP/IP. CAT cable or Thunderbolt v2 or Fiber? IP v4 or v6?
Best regards,

I'll be using CX4 cables, Infiniband type. It can be IPv4 or v6...

Guess I'll just try it and see what happens.
