Using Nebula Server and how to know it is working

Postby mtalavera » Thu Nov 27, 2014 7:55 pm

I upgraded recently from Nebula Pro to Nebula Server. In my Nebula instance, I see on the MAST screen the Version is 1.3.811 (Core50G4 x64). I also have a Nebula Server application that I can launch, and a little window that shows NebulaServerWin64 x64 1.3.811, and four statistics. I'm using the product as a local server and do not have a second computer connected in TCP/IP mode, so just the one workstation.

One of the features listed for the product is shared memory optimizations. I thought I had read in various forum topics that if you load the same preset, they would share memory. Is this Nebula Server window supposed to show the memory utilization that is being shared among the same presets? I have the same preset loaded into a Reaper 64 bit session on four different tracks, and the Nebula Server window doesn't show anything. Is it supposed to and I may have something not configured correctly to take advantage of any CPU or memory sharing?

Nebula Client also share memory in local mode but there no information about how much RAM you save. N2P file is also in RAM but it not shared.
