Yeah, had to do a lot of fixing to the Ownhammer collection here as well.

He uses 4 letters extensively. And a lot of categories would end up being thrown on one big pile because truncated they are the same :S.

G65O, G65R, C001, C002 (which are main categories even, so two whole libraries where being bunched together) and many more. The ones who are still unique, are (to me at least :P) pretty undescriptive ones truncated to 3 characters (SM57 I understand, SM5 looked weird to me :P).

So I loaded them all up in Nat (editor->list->add), added all the ownhammer*.n2p files, and hit the 'export' button. It creates a CSV file with all the program categories and names for these files. In Google Docs I used the search-and-replace to make them into meaningful letters (and renamed C001 and C002 to 'BOG' and 'MES' while I was at it :P), saved it all to a semicolon-separated csv file, and hit 'import' and 'save'. Tadaah.

Thank you very much for the tip!!!
I would have spend hours without the csv files.

starting from version 1.3.760, if you add

Code: Select all
  <NOCATEGORYTRUNCATION> 1 </NOCATEGORYTRUNCATION>

to your nebula.xml, categories will not be truncated any more

Keep me posted on that will you? :P. I have (or had) the same issue, and on one PC it just 'went away' but I can't fix it on my other one :S.

Hi Gang,

Dealing with a strange preset issue here.

I have an Acqua library that I'm loading into Nebula Server.

The problem ... the PRESETS are moving into different areas on Nebula's GUI menu

For instance ... one the PREAMP is in the Acqua heading ... next it might be in the main PREAMP header. Same thing is happening with the EQ bands.

I'll look for a eq preset in the list, and it'll be missing ... only to find that it shows up in the main Equalizer header.

And then ... they may show up just where expected :|

This is crazy :o or I am.

BTW ... this happens within the session.

anyone ?!?
