Nebula and OSX+PT 10/11

Postby the19thbear » Sun May 04, 2014 3:46 pm

Hi. I have been away from nebula for a couple of years now, but I'm looking into using it again.
Any changes when it comes to using it in osx? And what about wax/rtas versions? or do they work with any wrappers?

You will need a plug-in format adapter for example BC Patch Works. Before install, check OS, sequencer and plug-ins architecture in order to avoid an extra step.

OSX 10.8.x x86 + PT 10/11 x86 + Nebula3 Pro VSTx86 or Nebula3 Server VSTGUI3 VSTx86

OSX 10.9.x x64 + PT 11 x64 + Nebula3 Server VSTx64 *

NOTE: Nebula3 Pro is always VSTGUI3. VSTGUI3 is old VST UI framework. Nebula3 Server use VSTGUI4 but there is a backward compatibility using VSTGUI3 for old OSX system 10.6 to 10.8.

* Nebula3 Pro should work but you will need also a architecture adapter from VST x86 to VST x64. We don't recommend it.
