Who reported alternative datapath issues with authorization?

Postby giancarlo » Tue Mar 25, 2014 8:43 pm

I just tested it and it is perfectly fine... phonocamptica authorized in principal repository, while the same library is located in alternativedatapath folder.

I think user was also using Nebula Server in Local Mode.

I tested local mode x86 and x64 using phonocamptica and alternativedatapath. Everything works as expected

You got me, it's me! :D

I hope I'm not mistaken with the terminology, otherwise feel free to scold me! :D

I CAN use AA library and AITB, ONLY with the Server in Local Mode (not running the stand alone app).
If I run the Stand Alone App, I get the INIT preset.

About AITB: he solved the problem with the EAR library, therefore I guess that, when he'll bring all his libraries to 64 bit, everything will be smooth.

My system:
OS X 10.8.5
Nebula Server 1.3.681
Cubase 7.0.7

The OS and every application I run is on 32 bit mode. The only app at 64 bit is Nebula Server.

PS: FYI it's a very low priority matter to me. I still use some time variant preset from AA library, but 3rd party are developing "chorus", tremolo and flanger so it's all good.

Thanks for checking Giancarlo.

I don't know if it's a Mac problem, but I can tell you that, when AITB uploaded the 64 bit update for EAR, solved the problem.

ok it explains everything. So no issue on nebula really, only in lacking of copy protection for x64

That's what I thought after AITB's last update. :)
