Batch export of nebula presets as standard VST fxp files?

Postby darren » Thu Feb 27, 2014 5:18 pm

Is it possible to parse the nebula library folder and have standard .fxp files made of each preset?

Is there currently any tool that would allow that?

My thinking here was that I could organise the library on-disk, rather than through something like NebulaSetups. Then I could just load the VST preset file into Nebula, rather than have nebula load it directly.

Looking into it a bit further, it seems that when I load a saved .fxp file, the process of SRC does not seem to take place, or at least I do not see Nebula performing the SRC.. Interesting though.

Will report back as I find out more. Potentially nice way to organise stuff.

when the sequencer asks data for saving a chunk we send exactly the xml, which is the decrypting of a N2P file. Actually the tool for decrypting is not distributed.

So we can assume, despite the fact that the Nebula GUI does not display the SRC progress, that when a library is loaded via a .fxp, that the loading is correct.

In other words, using a .fxp does not break anything?
