Keep in mind we dont support mavericks officially yet.

Is this still officially the case? Because I'm getting this same behavior (tried the VST4 and VST3 UIs, same with both; same with VST and AU too) with the 770 update. The System Requirements say:
"Latest 64 bits version" for Server and Pro (which is Mavericks of course).

yes mavericks for vst32 works but it is not supported yet officially, while vst64 works very well but again it is not supported. "Latest 64 bits version" should refer to nebula.
Otherwise tell me where you read it and we'll fix it immedialy (I think we dropped the support for mavericks in the whole website).
Sadly apple upgraded all computers without informing us about what they did changed. We are using frameworks, and they have issues, something is incredibly broken in this apple world. I hope our next framework will handle changements in a better way.

Ah okay, I was unclear about that because the way it's written you have the Minimum listed as 10.5 and the Recommended says "Latest 64 bits version". So that strongly implies Mavericks without any more information. I know Apple is a pain in the dick when it comes to deprecating platforms but I see this as a bit of a problem because your software always requires bigger, badder hardware in order to even come close to running it usefully. And bigger badder hardware doesn't come with 10.8 anymore (have you ever tried installing 10.8 on a pre-built 10.9 system? It can be done but let me tell you it ain't fun).

I will say that the symptom I get with Nebula I've gotten with about half a dozen other high quality VSTs (although with most of them it only affects VST not AU, they must not be sharing code the way you guys do). So I understand that this isn't a Nebula bug or anything.

Anyway, soapbox aside, what is the actual supported OS version for OS X currently?

10.8 runs fine
10.9 runs fine in vst64 and au32, even if not supported officially

Hmm I'll have to test AU32 again, I got the same problem as VST32 unless I goofed up the test (maybe I did). I did not try the x64 but I will, that would suffice (only my test machines have gone to 10.9).

Is 10.8 officially supported?

I get the Gui problems with Cubase in 32bit on 10.9.4 along with some other plug ins. My work around is to load iDrum and open iDrum and click the channel info button. Doing this stops all the frozen gui problems until I restart Cubase again.

My results are: x64 does indeed seem to be working fine. But 32AU has the same problem as VST32. If you're supporting 10.8 then that's my production environment, I'll find another machine to be our crash test dummy. * Apple for constantly putting me in this position; I've had OS version issues on my myriad of PCs exactly zero times since I installed Win95!

the crazy thing, for the exception of the gui framework, the code which is running in windows (very stable) or mac is exactly the same.
