Question regarding installation of Nebula in Cubase 7

Postby unstruck » Sat Jan 11, 2014 11:36 pm

I'm using Cubase 7.05 in 64 bit mode.

I've installed Nebula Pro and had no problem authorizing it.

However in order to use some libraries I have to run Nebula in 32 bit mode.

I've installed the 32 bit version of the plugin and can open and authorize the plugin when I open cubase in 32 bit mode.

My issue is two-fold:

The 32 bit version does not show up when I open Cubase in 64 bit mode.

Typically I can use my 32 bit plugins in Cubase 64, is this not case with Nebula??

My other issue is that since I authorized the 32 bit version my 64 bit version is de-authorized because i changed the .init files.

How can I authorize so that both versions are authorized?

Thanks for your help!

All libraries are x86 and x64 compatible. Which library does not work under Nebula x64? Did you report to the library developer?

The 32 bit version does not show up when I open Cubase in 64 bit mode.

Cubase hasn't architecture bridge (x86 to x64)

My other issue is that since I authorized the 32 bit version my 64 bit version is de-authorized because i changed the .init files. How can I authorize so that both versions are authorized?

Nebula is flexible. You can setup two different extra plug-in support installation folder path (called NebulaTempRepository in PC) or use the same. Nebula in boot time will request INIT files, your key. If you use 2 different extra plug-in support installation folder you should copy your key to both corresponding Vector and Programs folders. Conclusion you can use x86 and x64 in the same OS or computer.
