Any way to get multiple nebula instances to load faster?

Postby biscoglio » Sat Dec 21, 2013 5:02 am

Hey everyone,

Remember reading a while back about someone who figured out a way to get projects with many instances of nebula to load more quickly. Does anyone have info? I've got a few projects that take 10+ minutes to load and the latest one will not open now (tried to do an all nebula mix in Reaper). Anyway, I would really appreciate any help in this regard. Totally addicted to Nebula at this point. If rendering and removing the plugins completely is the only way - please let me know. Projects seem to still load slowly even if the tracks have been frozen.

Thanks!

By using Nebula-Setups to create different instances...

The best solution for speedy loading of Nebula presets is to get ZAB's NebulaSetUps app, and create specific Nebulas for a library.

Yeah they do load faster that way. I'll have to do it for all of them and then organize it better. Thanks

Scanboot - none. My Nebula loads very fast. To make a new instance of nebula i just click disk-load and my libraries list is up. Try it out.
Sorry for my bad english =))

Change manually in MAST page .XML file SCANBOOT tag from 1 to 0 and add FREEZEBOOT tag with value = 1.

<SCANBOOT> 1 </SCANBOOT>
<SCANBOOT> 0 </SCANBOOT>

<FREEZEBOOT> 1 <FREEZEBOOT>
<FREEZEBOOT> 0 <FREEZEBOOT>

Delete FREEZEBOOT tag and change SCANBOOT tag to 1 after add a new library.

I have never heard of <FREEZE BOOT> before

Is there an MSDN of some kind somewhere ? That would be useful for me.
