issues after moving to different computer

Postby jaderabbit » Mon Nov 18, 2013 9:51 pm

I recently had to install Nebula 3 onto another PC, and though it's working, some things seem odd.

MWC loads, along with a good portion of others, but many previously usable presets result in an 'Init' on the Prog page. None of the reverbs load.

The old PC was not x64, so I'm wondering if this is part of the problem.
Any help or referrals appreciated.

Yes. Nebula's working, but some presets won't load.

Did you install just your license, or did you also backup your .ser file of your old computer?

Cause I think the .ser file and your license-installer are matched together, so if you didn't copy the .ser file it will have generated a new one, and your license-installer doesn't match it.

Get your old .ser file or contact Acustica to get a new license installer _I guess_.

New PC -> New HDD/SSD -> New .SER file. You must to register again your new computer. You can not transfer .SER/KEY from computers.

You can not transfer .SER/KEY from computers.

Seems to be working fine. Used it in one session to have some libraries with me on my laptop when we went to record in a different room. I could preview some programs right there to know for sure it would turn out OK. Brought the recordings back to my main PC to mix it further.
