I opened my Nebula3CoreII64.xml file to make a few changes and it is blank! Opened it in NotePad and WordPad with the same results. Same for the Nebula3CoreII64Reverb.xml file: nothing. I also have 32 bit Nebula 3 Pro installed to run when i use 32-bit Reaper (rarely anymore) and the .xml files for those are fine. Anyone know what the problem might be? Should i just uninstall the 32-bit versions?
Also, i watched a video on Nebula setup and the guy said that the settings on the kernel page are the opposite of what you see - if it says "econo" it means you're in normal mode and vice-versa. Is this correct? My settings at top are: Kernels: *0 max* (does the program/preset auto set that or should i change it to something higher?) *Mono-L* (Does this mean i'm operating in Stereo - the opposite? and should i use mono on tracks and stereo on busses?) *Econo* *Save*(no problem with how to use this one)and SplitH (Which also means the opposite FreqD?). Could someone please tell me simply how i should set these or if they are already ok? I'm totally confused here.
Ok. I backed up the init files from Nebulatemprepository folder, installed the x64 setup installer directed to the same VST folder and it installed into a folder *acustica64* but the files inside are not the CoreII64 files - they are Nebula 3 Reverb.dll and .xml and Nebula 3.dll and .xml. My old folder is still there with the CoreII64 files and the empty .xml files. I then put the backed up init files back into the temprepository program and vector file folders. Nebula seems to be working fine when i open it in Reaper 64. Why aren't the CoreII64 files in the new acustica64 folder after installing the setup? Should i delete the old acustica folder in my VST folder with the old CoreII64 files and install setup again? I thought the setup installer would just overwrite to the old acustica folder instead of creating the new acustica64 folder?
