HP filter patch/AITB issues

Postby richie43 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 5:36 pm

I just updated my compressors with mplays HP filter patches and now my AITB compressors are not authorized. Is this something that I need to take up with AITB (again)?

Re: HP filter patch/AITB issues--UPDATE

Postby richie43 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 7:08 pm

It is official, at least on my system. I reinstalled the original programs and they work fine. If I add either the side-chain patches or the HP filter patches, they both become unauthorized and unusable. I would love to sidechain these 2 compressors! Any ideas??

These patches work fine in my other compressors, just Fate and Snap have "broken" from the patches. I have also sent messages to AITB but have not heard back yet.

I'm pretty sure it won't work. AITB libraries are protected now which means they're not modifiable. None of their libraries is modifiable now, sad but true. We'll have to wait for them to update them.

Ah Mercado, the bringer of bad news.... Wow, that sucks. I even kept the older install files for so long, and when I figured that the new updates were "safe", I got rid of them.... And I know better to never delete ANYTHING anymore. Since I am a paying customer, would it be ethical for me to ask around for the old install files....?

I'm sure it would be ethical to ask. They seem like reasonable people.

I don't think AITB will have the old install files to make available. I was wondering about the ethics of asking another user, perhaps on this forum. I know that we are not supposed to share these libraries, but if I already have paid for them, it MIGHT be ok....? Or better yet, AITB provide some side-chain and HP filter patches, but that would be alot to ask.

Hello richie43 and all AITB customer. Due AITB libraries are now crypted by AA AUT anti copy system. You can not load saved emulation preset from other customer. You should wait to AITB release an update or create your own "mod" files.

I speak with Niklas last week for W735EQ key issues and we fixed, so AITB should update all libraries ASAP with the new AUT, I'll suggest AITB to upload internal S/C and external S/C version with 1.20 version.

The bad news is Niklas is on tour in Germany again...

Thanks Enrique. I reinstalled the original versions and at least they work now. i did try to create my own side-chain presets using the instructions you gave and for some reason it didn't work. When I got to the step with the funs page the selection that you said to choose didn't exist. Does this have something to do with the newest Nebula update? Is there a different way to create the side-chain versions of the comps?
