What is nebula 3 server free for? x64 Version

Postby saddle » Sun Jul 07, 2013 6:13 am

I downloaded and installed Nebula 3 Free on my Windows 7 64 system. I noticed that in the Nebula 3 Program Folder there are two 'Server' programs. Nebula3ServerFree64 and x32.

What are they for? It seems that if I launch my DAW and insert a Nebula 3 Reverb VST it works fine. Also if I start the server first, then the daw, when I insert a VST it works as well. The Server at that point shows the CPU and Memory.

What are the differences and when should I use one or the other?

Thanks
Greg

using server version you could
1) use a nebula 32 bits client and address 64 bits nebula processing (more ram is available)
2) use a remote computer for calculations
