Library problems and no feedback from Acustica for 2 days

Postby J.Burger » Tue Jun 04, 2013 1:09 pm

Buongiorno,
after getting no feedback to my support question 2 days ago, I´ve installed Nebula 3 pro on a different computer and finally got the .ser-file, ok.
But after reading all FAQ -Pages and installing my nebulatemprepository on a dedicated partition (my system disk is an SSD that doesn´t have enough space left for huge libraries), my programs are not recognized by Nebula.
The xml-document in the vst-folder shows the right folder but still nothing...
As far as I understood, even without receiving the license, yet, I should see at least a few programs - so what´s wrong?
here´s the content of the xml-doc:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<?generated by Nebula2 parser?>

Hello Joerg. I received today morning a email from Antonello. Please do this:

1. Move nebulatemprepository folder from G:\5 Nebula Lib to C:\nebulatemprepository
2. Copy all N2V and N2P files from Program and Vector folders, less INIT.N2P and INIT.N2V, and move to a backup folders.
3. Use alternative data path to add new paths for your libraries. I use one folder path to each 3rd developer. Example:

<ALTERNATIVEDATAPATH> D:\NebulaComercialLibraries\AITBL\ </ALTERNATIVEDATAPATH>

So you should create a folder caled AITBL in D:\NebulaComercialLibraries\AITBL\ and 2 folders inside Vector folder and Progams folrder. (www.acustica-audio.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=567)
4. Now from your backup folder copy your emulation presets (N2P/V files) to the correct folders
5. Nebula will boot and will ask fro INIT files in data path example:

<DATAPATH> C:\Archivos de programa\Nebula3PROTempRepository\ </DATAPATH>

Then will load in browser all emulation preset available using alternative data path
6. Do you change the path of nebulatemprepository folder in step on. Please change by hand the path in DATAPATH tag.

Please tell me if you understand how to do it, if not send me an email: enrique.silveti AT acusticaudio.net

Hola Enrique,
can´t believe it´s working but now I understand why people find Nebula a bit nerdy ;-).
Muchas gracias,
J.
