Postby xyxxjx » Thu Nov 08, 2012 9:22 am

how would I go about moving the nebulatemprepositryfolder from the C partition to a different partition? would it cause any problems with authorizations of plugins?

You can move your nebulatemprepository to a new folder, but you'll need to change the path in all your Nebula configurations.

Open Nebula3.xml + Nebula3 Reverb.xml.

1) Find the line:
<DATAPATH>c:\nebulatemprepository\</DATAPATH>

2) Change it to:
<DATAPATH>d:\my_newpath\nebulatemprepository\</DATAPATH>

If you use AITB libraries this enough to keep your current authorizations.
However I recommend for installers + future updates to update the registry as well.

1) Run regedit
2) Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acusticaudio\Nebula
3) Change the key "SUPPDIR" to the new path (as above) as well.

This way future updates of Nebula will use the right path. (And our library installers/uninstallers).

Thanks for the answer, that should be fairly simple.

I have another question:
Is there possible to use two places for nebulatemprepository?
My SSD is getting full with every new library now
Do i have to use something like NebulaSetup to make different dlls with different nebulatemprepository folders?

Hi!
You can use other locations, too.
Here you can find the instructions (nr. 15):

Okay, first you go to FAQ then to Library and emulation presets questions and then number 15.

I can't seem to find nebula3.xml i have nebula3corelII64.xml, however those files are 0 bytes, nothing to edit. I should say I'm running nebula setups from zabukowski.
