Thanks Steve! Maybe I will take the plunge, at least on one of the back-up DAW's...... Another Reaper user, awesome![/quote]

Hi Richie! Make that three... I just purchased Nebula and trying to install now on Windows 8 as I type this.

I've been reading the current user reviews, and I am not seeing any reason for the upgrade. I read an article where someone actually compared 7 to 8 in use for audio, and 7 actually performed much better. They used Cubase, but it is still very thorough and informative.

I am very interested to see more audio specific reviews as time goes on. My Windows 7/Reaper set-up is unusually stable, maybe I just have a hard time believing that it could possibly get better.

Het Richie...I have found everthing to be pretty much the same (except that I have to change my 003 rack Asio buffer size using centrance latency checker). It is probably slightly 'snappier' than 7 (although that could simply be the fresh install). There is certainly no need to upgrade.I only did so out of curiosity because it's so cheap at the moment. It's nice to know that everything is future proof for a while.(especially, and amazingly,my 003 rack). :D

P.S. Welcome to the dark side Karbo...!!!
P.P.S. CDSoundmaster R2R and TapeBooster VST's work fine as well.
