Not generating .SER file on my main Mac

Postby Jeremypaulcarroll » Tue Sep 13, 2011 1:50 pm

Hi, I have installed Nebula and the Nebula Pro upgrade on my macbook with no problems - serial file generated and sent off to you. (It would be quite nice to get the reply soon, please!)

However, on my 8-core Mac Pro, it won't generate a serial file at all. I am looking in /Library/Audio/Presets/AcusticaAudio/Nebula3.

Any clues??

Cheers!

Jeremy.

My licence key files for my laptop arrived a few moments ago, so I'm happy about that! I just don't understand why I can't generate the serial file for my Mac Pro. I may have installed the Nebula PRO UPGRADE first - In the absence of any indication otherwise it seemed to me to be the one to download (on account of the fact that that's what I bought)

I've just tried removing all files and re-installing. Run an instance of the VST plugin. Still no .SER file!

I am in the middle of a Mastering session and could really do with some help on this.

Please? Someone?

Thanks for getting back... unfortunately, all I'm getting on the Nebula screen is "Program #0 not valid" message....

Ok... where is the nebulatemprepository on a Mac? All those instructions seem PC specific....

Just so you know, I tried deleting the entire AcusticaAudio folder in /Library/Audio/Presets. I removed all the components and VST plugs. Reinstalled using first "Setup Nebula3 OSX 1.3.492 VST AU" then "Upgrade Nebula3 Pro MAC OSX 1.3.492"

Is there anything else I can do to completely remove and start again?

Sorry about this :-)

Thanks for asking these questions, because I'm running into the same walls with Acustica

OSX key number generation is quite different from Win/PC.

Yes, is PC specific. In OSX is /Library/Audio/Presets.

You don't need to upgrade from the same version run Setup Nebula3 OSX 1.3.492 VST AU is enough. Try to see your customer number after run Setup Nebula3 OSX 1.3.492 VST AU in DISK > REGISTERED.
