Maybe I better should ask do I need the S programs for sidechaining or can I use the none S programs for sidechaining?

To my ears the none S programs do sidechaining so why do I need the S programs?

You can use the hi-pass on the normal ones. Works great!

Re: high pass sidechain to compressor ISSUES

Please see this thread.

I updated my n2p files for all compressors with mplay's patches (thanks mplay!), but my AITB compressors went unauthorized. I just reinstalled the original versions and all is back to non-HP and non-sidechained, but working. The other non-AITB compressors took the patch fine.

Enrique or Mplay or Richie43,did you post somewhere on the forum how to patch Nebula compressor yourself ? I'd like to do that for some of the commercial and CDSM libraries.

Thanx

EDIT : And where can you select your poles as G.'s mentioned ? (it might be included in the DIY explanation :D ).I'm just picky here 'cause 4 pole do it for me most the time.

Thanks Rich.It was my lack of time/laziness.
EDIT : Wait,I'm not focus now...I was talking about the new internal HPF sidechain function, not the previous external one.

What I wanna do is to enable Nebula internal HPF for other libraries that the ones Mplay did for us.And be able to choose the steepness of the filter.
And I need 2 or 3 hours of sleep too ;)

I haven't been able to use those instructions on the new AITB compressors. Maybe you can help me out. There doesn't seem to be an EVF 5 to select for step 4, the funs page. Let me know if you have any luck.

Does anyone know have any news about the Alexb libraries ?

I work in logic and ProTools and [as far as 'm aware] unable to use the quad channel trick on either.

I think there's a little bit of confusion here.Richie if I got you correctly, what you want is already available (beside AITB protection issue). For "external" side-chain, the "S" programs, the one you can use in Reaper (with an external HPF of your choice),Mplay has aready gave them to us.Try to find on the forum his "side-chain" presets.Inside there are presets for both Snap and Fate compressor.

IF you are talking about the "internal" HPF side-chained,the one with the "range" button.Again it's already available on this thread for AITB's Snap an Fate compressor Mplay did the work for us.

So my question remain the same.Mplay ?

I really need the hi pass filter added to Alex B MWD & 4kD.
