Nebula Libraries not working at all after backup restore

Postby nathanfurst » Mon Aug 29, 2011 7:17 pm

Due to a disk fail, I had to rebuild my main system from my backup server.
Since then, NONE of my Nebula libraries function AT ALL.

They all appear, including new 3rd party libs I just purchased. They also appear to load their threads.

BUT nothing functions at all...it's completely dead.

Does this have something to do with that .ser file?
I'm assuming it should still be good since all I did was a system restore...

Please help.

Did you change your drive? If you have you may need a new license. But at any rate, run your license again .

Yes. I had to change the main OS drive, and just did a restore from the backup server, making the new drive essentially a clone of the one that failed....

I just uploaded my .ser in the user area, hopefully that will solve the problem...

While you are waiting for the new license, try running the original license file again. I need to rerun mine every time I do a major upgrade or reinstall, even on the same HD.

New HDD > New .SER file > New KEY request...

Sorry for my ignorance...
What does "running" the original license mean?

The path outlined by EnriqueSilveti isn't anything I recognize...is that a path I take through the plug in window??

I'm on a mac, btw.

In PC there is a KEY installer that copy/intall customer INIT N2P/N2V files. PC and MAC protection are quite different.

Right Understood.

I got new INIT files in my email, and replaced them, but I'm still having SOME problems.

One consistent issue is that the "DRIVE" slider does NOT function. At all. No matter which preset or library, my "DRIVE" slider is dead.

I'm incredibly frustrated and am loosing patience.

What should I do? should I try reinstalling everything??

Ok. I think I've fixed it.

It seems like the preferences were reset when I rebuilt my system.
My "rate CNV" was set to 2500, which wasn't large enough to convert the presets to 48k.
I've changed my Rate CNV to 5000, and everything appears to be working as expected.

Thank you everyone for your help!!
