How does Nebula Server work?

Postby MrLove » Wed Jul 27, 2011 3:11 pm

Do I load a kind of built in rack with several instances or do I have to use an external vst host (chainer/rack) and load the instances in this host?

From the client (DAW) then. What do I load there?

Is there a manual available to read and understand?

Is there a trial version of the server so that I may try and see if it fits my workflow?

(I'm using Nebula 3 Pro right now)

Nebula3Client is like Nebula3PRO but on load try to "speak" with a server, the server is an standard alone application for PC/MAC that can run into the same machine (local mode) or into a server thru a LAN network (LAN mode). If Nebula3Client don't find a server works like Nebula3PRO.

Nebula Server LAN feature still on beta testing and no user manual was released yet, you can test this feature thru Nebula3FREE, but remember to use a different repository folder.

Depends on your DAW aspects, are you on full x64 ring? Anyway Nebula3Server will have Core3: cached vectorial engine + shared memory.
