upgrade vs clean install

Postby sneaky » Tue Jul 12, 2011 10:37 am

quick question. I am downloading the .499 upgrade now.

The last full install available to me when I purchased server was "SetupNebula3 Pro 1.3.460.rar"

When I next need to do a clean install should I run SetupNebula3 Pro 1.3.460.rar - then the .499 upgrade - (or whatever the latest is) ?

Try to upgrade first. If everything's OK leave it like that.
My DAW was crashing with the .499g so I reinstalled AND upgrade.

Good luck.

a clean install doesn't help... anyway run a setup version first, than authorize it. When you are sure it's working, upgrade.

I didnt explain myself properly sorry:
1. neb server is working correctly.
2. I bought a 2nd pc to use as a remote server
3. Installed Setup_Nebula3_Pro_1.3.492on the 2nd pc.
Loaded the host & emailed the .ser file to info@nebula - expecting a licence.exe back
4. I then expect to install Upgrade_Nebula3_Server_1.3.499I on the 2nd pc...
5. I dont know if step 3 is correct. Thats the problem.
