Hi, when I try to use a reverb preset called 'KRZ Opera II' the sound slows down and breaks up.
This happens with only one instance of Nebula loaded into Reaper. I have installed Nebula CUDA and 'whereismycuda' says that it is installed correctly. I have the same problem whether Nebula is set to CPU or CUDA.
Please can you advise me how to correct this problem.
I am using Nebula 3 Pro X64 1.3.495 in Reaper 3.76 x64 on Win7 x64. I have 16GB ram and an AMD 1090 X6 CPU. I have an NVidia 470 1280MB CUDA card with v275.33 drivers.
DSPBUFFER is 512. I tried changing it to 1024 but it didn't help. I have to set it to 2048 to use 'KRZ Opera II' preset. Also 'DIG Big Church' causes problems unless I set the DSPBUFFER to at least 1024.
When I use other reverb presets I don't have any problems. I can run many instances of Nebula and Nebulareverb at 512 without any problems if I don't use these reverb presets.
Should I keep my buffer at 512 and only use presets that work or is it ok to set Nebulareverb to 2048 and keep Nebula at 512? Will this cause any compatibility problems?
I've set Nebulareverb buffer to 2048 and left Nebula buffer at 512. This sounds ok so I don't think there are any problems. It doesn't seem to cause any buffer mismatches and I don't think there is any delay in the sound.
Anyone experienced at how to set the correct buffer settings please advise thanks!
Fantastic! Everything seems to be working well now. I can run many Nebulas in a Reaper project without any problems. I've been testing many of the Nebula and 3rd party libraries and I like the Nebula sounds more than many of my UAD-1 plugins. This is an excellent plugin.
