Thanks Giancarlo. can you tell me what that is or is it too difficult and time consuming to explain? I am just trying to understand how Nebula works and how to optimize it to my system. I am still trying to find a reason to switch to all 64bit and see it work better than 32bit....

Magic = VST ID. You shouldn't worry about this parameter since Nebula's dll files already have their own VST ID "in" them. When it comes to VST IDs:

Nebula3CoreII64 Reverb.dll = Nebula3 Reverb.dll
Nebula3CoreII64.dll = Nebula3.dll
i7 3770k :: Asus P8H77-V LE :: 16Gb DDR3 @1600MHz :: Geforce GT 520 :: OCZ-Vertex 128Gb :: WD Black Series 1Tb and Green Series 1Tb :: F*******e Liquid56 :: REAPER 64bit and StudioOne 64bit (both latest versions) :: Win 10 64bit

That's what I thought. You were the person Mercado who taught me how to rename the 64bit dll's and xml's so they matched the 32bit ones. So why do my 32bit and 64bit xml's have different "magic" entries?

I really don't know. They have different numbers there and that's very confusing since I'm 100% sure they have the same ID internally (otherwise hosts like Cubase or Nuendo wouldn't detect it properly when switching from 32bit to 64bit or viceversa).

After Giancarlo's suggestion, I made the "magic" entry the same for both. Thanks Mercado.

since 499g the installer cant open several files on my windows 7 machine. it sais: Error opening file for writing: C:/Windows/system32/ippcore-7.0.dll, same for ipps-7.0.dll, ippy8-7.0.dll, libiomp5mb.dll, and the NebulaserverWin64.exe (nebulatemprepositiory/Server). Please help.

That happened to me a few months ago. I never figured out why, but after a uninstall and reinstall, things worked. And to install, start with the Pro bundle set-up, then do the upgrades. Don't forget to rerun the license again. I also never install to my system drive, Windows 7 gets persnickety with permissions, especially if you have that goofy UAC still enabled. I just remembered, to completely uninstall, I also deleted all Nebula related files (not the nebulatemprepository, DON'T DO THAT!!!). Good luck.

Those files are from new Intel IPP library version 7, ensure that you install it into your OS system folder (C:/Windows/system32 is for x86 files, are you running W7 x64 or x86?) Seems like you are trying to run NebulaserverWin64.exe from C:/Windows/system32. Tell us a bit more about your Audio DAW.

If the file are in the correct place, you have an authorization issue...

solved the problem, lol. It was because the server was running and i din't notice. Always quit the server before installing upgrades etc.
