which is correct...
1% * 8 = 8%
so 20% where? in task manager? if nebula says "7%" it means that the process is completing in that time, so it could open way more instances in order to reach 100%. During the processing time it takes the assumption that cpu is 100% for that processor.

EDIT: contact me, we'll test a solution. I'll disable multithreading in ipp libraries, I think it could be the issue here.

ok I added a parameter for changing the number of threads used by ipp. Contact me... I could provide a version this evening

ok we'll disable multithreadin in ipp as default setting. Multithreading is engaged for large fft, so I think you are experiencing multithreading issues. Anyway there will be an hidden parameter for further tunings

ok, disabling multithreading solves the issue on mac osx too. It seems like mac osx version works very well now. 32bits version now are based on ipp7. For 64bits (server component) you should wait a bit. We'll release things asap

Won't disabling multithreading cause a performance hit though?

So this was not multiprocessor multithreading then?

it seems like multithreading in ipp libraries is adding troubles so we disabled it as default settiing. But nebula is already implementing multithreading

released experimental version m, windows+mac osx
Still a little bug, process hanging during preset switching, though.
