Well, the "wtf" I've done was purchase the server upgrade, install the newest experimental version, raise my RATE CNV to max, raise my DSPBUFFER to at least 2048, although I use 3 very different configs, but this one being my most used. Any other tweaks were done by someone else tweaking my xml file and I just dropped it in so I'm not totally sure what else was changed. But the ones I mentioned were the changes that made the most difference. But honestly, the biggest improvements I noticed were before the tweaks and were the upgrade and installation of the experimental version.

Does the Server need to be running? I´m just inserting the NebulaReverb ...... or does the server also has to be running?

No, the server doesn't need to be running. What sequencer are you using? What is your asio buffer set at? Nebula is NOT good for tracking, no real-time use. I always bump my buffer setting up. Also, what OS are you on and what are your computer specs?

What is your DSPBUFFER at? For some things I bump it up to 4096, but for reasons I don't know my performance actually starts to go down if I go up to max.

I get best performance without the server running, straight Core 3 Nebula. I'm gonna switch to Reaper 64 so I don't have to separate Nebula into different instances, I have to be taking a performance hit by having 50 separate Nebula processes.

Hey woeischris. Can you report back how your Nebula/Reaper 64bit goes? It SHOULD be better than 32bit, but I actually had more problems and glitchiness with 64bit. Hmmm.... I have been using 32bit with zero problems, but I also have adapted my workflow to rendering tracks down often. The only instances I end up with on constantly are usually buss inserts and comps. I am curious as to how your experience goes. Thanks.

Installed Snow Leopard..... no improvement. Seems like my CPU is just to slow... 5 Instances of SnapComp 10:1 FF are working, 6st will crash playback.... with Server activated i can only run 4 instances....

cant say im happy :D ........
