Sorry if I'm asking a question that was long answered (in which case please point me to the relevant post), but would I feel any improvement in workflow/audio with Core3 engine?
I'm asking 'cause I already have pro and I haven't intended to move to server as I don't need that functionality. So to justify the price for upgrade I need to know that I can get some improvement in usual operation.

at the moment you would get better ram use, when you use the same program several times in a project (consoles, roomhunters tol, ... on every track).
so when ram is a bottleneck in your use of nebula, this would help greatly.
sometimes there is a performance-improvement, when the localserver is running, with certain hosts.
here it runs a little bit more stable, with samplitude.

in 32 bit systems, you can adress more ram with localserver. in my case, i can use around 2.5 gb ram, before only around 1.2 gb.

system 1: windows 8 32 bit - samplitude prox, tracktion6, reaper
system 2: mac osx yosemite - reaper(32+64bit), tracktion6(32+64bit)

both systems on: macbook pro (late 2009), core 2 duo 3,06 ghz, 4 gb ram, graphic: nvidia geforce 9600M GT 512 MB

Nice one on the update & optimizations!!

What else will Core III bring to the table? Soundwise?

On CORE3 all Nebula can talk together so now with Nebula3Server you have a beast inside you sequencer.

When will the AU-version be ready?
I love the concept of the shared RAM and cpu optimization.
If the optimization will not apply to 8 core 2008 mac pro's,
there's always the option of freezing.
Waiting patiently...or at least I'm trying....

Need some clarification:

- new Neb3 Server will get better usage of RAM when using lot's of instances of the same program. How do I use that? I never used Neb 3 Server, only the Pro version. If want to use it on one computer only, how do I do?

- Is is available to Mac users already?

Thanks!
