What to make of this test?

Postby mertayy » Thu Apr 29, 2010 12:07 am

Something was bugging me for sometime about an eq I purchased so finally I quit being lazy and made a null test.

Made 2 tracks, inserted the same song, inserted Nebula on both and selected different presets from both library (both bell but works in different freq. ranges) and didn't change any setting and also sample rate was the same as the eq was sampled. It did not null (and was far from it).

I tryed this with same preset but selected different freq.'s (without changing gain) and it nulled.

So since its the same hardware, why do I hear a difference between bands but not with the same knob (I guess)?

I forgot: You can directly go to the postings by spectrum (=Eric Persing)
Quite good thread, I feel.
