Problems with Nebula on a new PC...

Postby BenJ » Mon May 02, 2011 8:32 am

After a fresh OS installation along with all my audio software, I have everything working except Nebula. I was hoping that I could simply copy and paste the entire nebulatemplaterepository folder to the new system and everything would work.

Unfortunately that didn't seem to work. If I try to open up an instance of Nebula, I see the ancient UI (that looks like this, minus any text):

Nothing loads and eventually the host (Cubase 6 and Reaper x86 & 64bit) crashes.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing a few times, but it's not working.

PS: I do not have access to the 64 bit version (non-Server) in my Nebula3 folder of My Downloads. When I contacted support, they told me "it should be there." Well, it's not.

If you change hard drive for your Nebula installations you need to get your serials (authorization) updated. When Nebula is installed initially it generated an .ser which is based on your hard drive ID. Therefor you must reinstall Nebula and ask for a new serial to be generated for you by sending Acustica an email.
