Nebula 64bit

Postby richie43 » Thu Apr 07, 2011 6:59 pm

I have been using Nebula 32bit in Reaper 32bit on a windows 7 64bit. Now that Nebula has replace almost all of my vst's, I would like to make the switch to Nebula64 and Reaper64. Do I need to uninstall the Nebula 32 first or can they both be installed? Also, do I need to re-authorize this or can I import the license key into the 64bit Nebula? Thanks.

Windows use a complete separate folder for x86 and x64 programs. Install Nebula x64 from a setup and upgrade to last version in Program files > Nebulatemprepository and Program files > VST plugins. DO NOT use Program files x86 folder

In Reaper x64 edit your VST plugin folder to load x64 VST plugins only.

Your .SER files and your personal KEY should be the same.

You can share emulations presets from both Nebula version libraries using alternative data path in XML Nebula master files moving emulations presets to a shared folder in a extra partition or HDD.

Could you explain this a little more?

Thanks. I am becoming more and more computer savvy, but this still might be a struggle for me. I am smart, so I will make a drive image first and then try to tackle this. I have my vst's on a separate partition already, so is this necessary anyway? Thanks for the info!
