Nebula not found in Sonar X1 plugins

Postby scootertrash » Thu Apr 07, 2011 4:20 am

I've installed the Nebula3 free bundle and it's not showing up in my Sonar X1 plugins.
I added the path to the subfolder that contains the VST Dlls and re-scanned the VST folders and it still didn't show up.
OS: Win7 64
DAW Sonar X1 Producer 32bit.

Should Nebula3 64bit be able to run on a 32 bit DAW?
And if so, do you have any idea why it wouldn't be showing up in my Sonar VST plugins?

32bit DAW won't recognize 64bit plugin but you can use a little app called "jbridge" to link them up.....Thus, you can use more than 4G ram to load nebula as well.

I Installed the 64 bit version of Sonar X1 and the Nebula plugin shows up in my plugins bin now. :D

My next question:
I've searched for an answer but haven't been able find a solution...
Should presets open in the Nebula 3 free bundle?
I've downloaded and installed a preset. The pre-set installer created a Program and a vector folder. I'm unclear as to exactly where these folders should be located. Should the files within the folders be transferred to their respective sub-folders in the C:\nebularepository\programs and C:\nebularepository\vectors folders?
...Or where exactly should they be located?

Then; what folder should Nebula look in to load the preset?

Edit: I've sent my .ser file and am hoping that when I get a registration I'll be able to load presets?

n2p => program folder

n2v => vector folder

Thanks, I moved the files from the folder that they were extracted to into the C:\nebularepository\programs and C:\nebularepository\vectors folders and they were duplicates - so the installer must have put them in the correct location.

I guess I just sit around waiting for a registration email now and then hope that the presets load.

FWIW, it would be nice if the registration procedure was included in the application installer, or at least mentioned in the UserGuide.pdf
