This is nice, but I'm sorry us Mac users are apparently so dopey that you had to waste your time writing it.
1) Decompress the .zip archive
2) in the little search box at top of every OSX window, type ".n2p", hit the button to narrow search to the folder you're in, Select All and drag the results to your Nebula Programs folder
3) change the term in the little search box to ".n2v" and drag those to the Nebula Vectors folder. Done.
This literally takes about 10 seconds, people, regardless of the size of the library or libraries. Is it really so hard that you had to make Giancarlo write software to do it for you?
(Giancarlo: my own personal single most requested mac OSX feature would be some way to make our own duplicate Nebula AU instances that allows us to name them differently for different settings and XML edits (Nebula CUDA, Nebula Comp, etc). I've tried changing the <MAGIC> value, it doesn't seem to "stick," i.e., I lose the new plugin after one relaunch of the host.
The easiest workaround would probably be just to pre-generate a few additional instances for us that we could download as part of the installer; name them "Nebula User 1," ; "Nebula User 2," etc. That would only take a few minutes to make, yes?)
well, it is an useful feature! On pc side (and now on mac osx side) you have a standard installer for our commercial library and for 3rd party libraries. And it works for the key, making the process straightforward. This installer is very clever because you could select "what" you want in your folder easily, and without mistakes. When you install for example a couple of programs based on the same vector, it moves only them, and it checks dipendancies.
From the user perspective the nebula installation is very easy now: he checks the serial in DISK page and sends it. Than he receives the installer, and that's all. You can't figure how many users are not aware about /Library folder, and it could be confused at least with other 3 library folders in the same mac... it generates a lot of mails, support questions....
