Neb 3 Pro for Mac - is it worth it?

Postby nathanfurst » Wed Mar 16, 2011 8:29 pm

I've been using the 3 free for a few days now, and I'm going to buy it.

However, from a Mac angle, I'm not noticing a real difference between 3 and 3 pro, as the additional features seem to be Windows only.

Can someone enlighten me?

I would say YES, it's worth it. :D :D

I hesitate at first but due to the feedbacks and good reviews by the users here and gearslutz forum, i bought it. No regrets at all and seriously change the way i work and my mixes are sounding sooo much better.

I'm really enjoying these fantastic EQ's and compressors maded by 3rd party developers and there's more goodies to come plus, the price is really affordable.

The difference between Nebula 3 and Nebula 3 Pro:

Nebula 3 Pro is the only platform for Mac users (Windows users as well) while the Nebula 3 is for Windows only: http://www.acustica-audio.com/index.php ... Itemid=145

Also, read the FAQ below: What are the differences between Nebula bundles?

I own it for around... 10 days, and I'm really enjoying the R2R and AlexB consoles programs.
Haven't tried EQs yet.
Even being a bitch to fit in my workflow, I like what I hear... not a game changer yet, 'cause I didn't use it full throttle on a session 'till now..
