REQUEST I need a short tutorial for logic audio 9 and sidechain. I'm able to create a surround track with L-R and Ls-Rs, nebula loads there (we support 4 inputs 4 outputs configuration)... but how can I assign Ls-Rs inputs coming from an other track? I explain it better: how do you use standard "quadro" compressors in logic audio, for example the "glue"? Do group tracks exist?
The first who answers will test nebula sidechain in logic.....
(and if nobody answers we'll not support/debug sidechain there it's up to you )
btw client and server versions already support sidechain, I debugged them. Also VST is working in mac osx. On AU side I'm going to test logic audio (I'm waiting for answers eheh) and I should fix a little things in reaper/AU (because tracks are loading as standard stereo tracks instead of 4-2 ones like in vst world).
sorry, you are late. I'll not spend other time on this thing. What I need now is 2 testers who bought the snap compressor from analoginthebox. They should be able to use quadro channels too and they should know how to route them. Nebula is exactly like the glue, so just google the solution for the proper routing.
If you are ready contact me via email, I'll provide 2 previews for testing, one for pc and one for mac osx.
On VST side we support mono, stereo and quadro/stereo. On AU side we support mono/stereo, stereo/stereo, 4 inputs/4 inputs and 4 inputs/stereo
quick instructions: I'll provide the reverb version for windows and both vst and au for mac osx you should copy this new preset, which is snap compressor 2:1 SFS If the channel is configured correctly you'll see a little Q blinking (in reaper you should make it 4/2 even if the Q is blinking). Now route the signal to 1/2 and the sidechain (control) signal to 3/4. You'll hear obviously only 1/2 compressed by 3/4 events.
